In World of Warcraft, the Tailoring profession enables players to use various types of cloth to create items such as shirts, armor, and bags. Given that this profession uses up a lot of cloth, you might want to buy WoW Gold to make sure you have enough to create your items.
Tailors often take up Enchanting as their secondary profession, as most of the items and cloth made through Tailoring can produce useful Enchanting items through Disenchanting.
Proficiency
As with all professions, Tailoring has six proficiency levels, which are listed in the table below. As you increase your character’s level and your Tailoring skill level, you can increase your Tailoring Proficiency by visiting a Tailoring Trainer. While any Tailoring Trainer in Azeroth can teach you Apprentice to Artisan Tailoring, you can only learn Master Tailoring in Outland or Northrend, and Grand Master Tailoring in Northrend.
Training costs WoW Gold, and the prices differ depending on whether you chose Tailoring as your Primary or Secondary profession.

Leveling Tailoring
The first thing you need to do is to visit a Tailoring Trainer in one of Azeroth’s main cities to learn Apprentice Tailoring. This section contains a table that shows you which items to create to level up your Proficiency in the fastest, most efficient manner.
Most of the plans for the items listed below can be learned from Tailoring Trainers, but a few have to be obtained elsewhere. Additionally, most of the plans listed will require you stand near a blacksmith anvil (usually located close to Tailoring NPCs in towns and camps), and use a blacksmith hammer, which can be purchased at a Tailoring Supplies vendor.

Tailoring Specialization
Tailors may choose to take up a Specialization upon reaching character level 60 and Tailoring skill level 350. Taking a Specialization in Tailoring will allow you to create two pieces of Primal Mooncloth, Shadowcloth, or Spellcloth (depending on what you specialized in) at a time instead of just one. This proves to be useful since these specialty cloths (that you can use to craft higher-level items) each has a 3 day, 20 hour cooldown and can only be made in specific places. Specialization also grants you access to higher-level patterns that are exclusive to your selected specialization.
There are three available specializations to choose from: Mooncloth Tailoring, Shadoweave Tailoring, and Spellfire Tailoring.
Mooncloth Tailoring
Go to Nasmara Moonsong in Shattrath City to accept the “Becoming a Mooncloth Tailor” quest. You will be given a Square of Imbued Netherweave, which you have to use while standing inside the Cenarion Refuge’s moonwell at Zangarmarsh. Once you’ve done that, go back to Nasmara in Shattrath City to complete the quest. After you finish the quest, you’ll be a specialized Mooncloth Tailor.
Shadoweave Tailoring
Go to Andrion Darkspinner in Shattrath City to accept the “Becoming a Shadoweave Tailor” quest. You will be given a Crystal of Deep Shadows, which you have to use near the Altar of Shadows in Shadowmoon Valley. Once you’ve done that, go back to Andrion in Shattrath City to complete the quest. After you finish the quest, you’ll be a specialized Shadoweave Tailor.
Spellfire Tailoring
Go to Gidge Spellweaver in Shattrath City to accept the “Becoming a Spellfire Tailor” quest. You will be asked to obtain a Nether-Wraith Essence, which you will have to acquire through killing a Nether-Wraith. You will be given a Netherweave Beacon, which you have to use at Netherstorm in order to summon the Nether-Wraith. Once you’ve defeated the wraith and acquired the quest item, go back to Gidge in Shattrath City to complete the quest. After you finish the quest, you’ll be a specialized Spellfire Tailor.
If you feel the need to switch specializations, you will have to go back to the trainer who taught you the specialization and pay a fee of 150 WoW Gold to unlearn it.
Now that you know the most efficient way to level up your Tailoring skill, you’ll get up to 450 in no time. Remember to keep crafting Frostweave Bags to earn lots of WoW Gold, and you can also craft them for your guildmates and friends.
