In World of Warcraft, the Inscription enables players to craft scrolls, glyphs, off-hand tomes, vellum, and Darkmoon cards.
Inscription goes well with Herbalism, since you can use Milling (a skill that comes with Inscription) to break herbs down into pigments you can use. You might need to buy WoW Gold to ensure that you have enough funds to buy your materials at the Auction House if you opt not to take Herbalism.
Proficiency
As with all professions, Inscription has six proficiency levels, which are listed in the table below. As you increase your character’s level and your Inscription skill level, you can increase your Inscription Proficiency by visiting an Inscription Trainer. While any Inscription Trainer in Azeroth can teach you Apprentice to Artisan Inscription, you can only learn Master Inscription in Outland or Northrend, and Grand Master Inscription in Northrend.
Training costs WoW Gold, and the prices differ depending on whether you chose Inscription as your Primary or Secondary profession.

Leveling Inscription
The first thing you need to do is to visit an Inscription Trainer in one of Azeroth’s main cities to learn Apprentice Inscription. This section contains a table that shows you which items to create to level up your Proficiency in the fastest, most efficient manner.
Most of the formulas for the items listed below can be learned from Inscription Trainers, but a few have to be obtained elsewhere.
If you haven’t opted to take up Mining as a secondary profession or if you’re just not feeling up to looking for reagents, you may want to buy WoW Gold so that you can purchase them from other players.

You can stop leveling Inscription at skill level 430, and stick to conducting regular Northrend Inscription Research instead.
Now that you know the most efficient way to level up your Inscription skill, you’ll get up to 450 in no time. Glyphs and Scrolls are in relatively high demand in Azeroth, so you should make sure that you sell your extra Glyphs and Scrolls at the Auction House.
