In World of Warcraft, the Herbalism profession enables players harvest herbs from specific plants scattered all over the world. These herbs are used as reagents by certain crafting professions like Alchemy and Inscription, so it’s convenient to pair Herbalism with either of the two professions.
Note that even when paired with Herbalism, you may need additional funds for the other reagents required for Alchemy and Inscription, so you might want to buy WoW Gold.
Proficiency
As with all professions, Herbalism has six proficiency levels, which are listed in the table below. As you increase your character’s level and your Herbalism skill level, you can increase your Herbalism Proficiency by visiting a Herbalism Trainer. While any Herbalism Trainer in Azeroth can teach you Apprentice to Artisan Herbalism, you can only learn Master Herbalism in Outland or Northrend, and Grand Master Herbalism in Northrend.
Training costs WoW Gold, and the prices differ depending on whether you chose Herbalism as your Primary or Secondary profession.

Leveling Herbalism
The first thing you need to do is to visit a Herbalism Trainer in one of Azeroth’s main cities to learn Apprentice Herbalism. This section contains a table that shows you which items to create to level up your Proficiency in the fastest, most efficient manner.
Remember that you don’t have to just stick to the herbs listed below; it’s highly recommended that you harvest every herb you find in your travels, even if you don’t find them in the table below. You can sell your unnecessary/extra herbs at the Auction House for WoW Gold.

Now that you know the most efficient way to level up your Herbalism skill, you’ll get up to 450 in no time. It can be tedious to run around looking for herb nodes in some of the zones mentioned, but finding the herbs you need for other professions or herbs that you can sell for WoW Gold at the Auction House will be well worth it.
