In a bid to ease the strain on their servers, get you in the game faster and make things generally more convenient, Blizzard have begun uploading patch data to the background downloader in preparation of Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.0.2. Basically, you’ll be able to start playing Warlords of Draenor, earning sweet wow gold as soon the expansion goes live.
World of Warcraft – Grommloc Pet
Before Draenor hits though, a lucky few of you will be attending Blizzcon this year. For those unable to go, there’s always the pricey, but highly convenient virtual ticket solution. Whichever you choose, you’ll be gifted with nifty in-game goodies for all Blizzard games.
In addition to stuff from Hearthstone (a commemorative card pack), StarCraft 2 portraits and decals, and a Nexus mount and Portait for Heroes of the Storm, there are a few goodies WoW players will be especially interested in. First, Draenor themed weapon transmogrifications for Diablo 3, and then the cutest baby murloc pet, masquerading as Grommash Hellscream, called Grommloc, now this you can’t buy with wow gold!
Warlords Brings the Ability to Undelete Characters
You know a big expansion is near when Blizzard starts announcing major features as part of the expansion patch. This time, players will be able to undelete characters. Undeleting a character restores all of its enchantments, gems, and items fully intact, however, Blizzard does warn that there are some limitations you should be aware of before you go ahead and start clearing the slate:
- Characters under level 10 and Death Knights at level 55 are not eligible to be undeleted.
- Characters between level 10 and level 29 will no longer be recoverable after 90 days.
- Characters between level 30 and 49 will no longer be recoverable after 120 days.
- All other characters level 50 and above are eligible to be undeleted at any time.
- Please keep in mind you will only be able to use the undelete option once every 30 days.
