TSW Issue #2: Digging Deeper

The second content patch for TSW has been delayed a couple of times (originally scheduled for an August 28th release, then moved to September 11th, then 12th) and now an announcement simply says that it is to be release sometime this week (after a bug with potential for massive exploit is fixed.) We’re bummed about the new delay (to put it mildly), but let’s think of this as an opportunity to stock up on TSW gold before the new content drops.

To appease fans, Community Manager Tarib offered this video which details contents of the upcoming patch:

UPDATE: TSW game update “Digging Deeper” is now LIVE!

SWTOR Server Consolidation

Don’t be confused if you log in today and find your SWTOR characters in different servers (than where you left them). The planned server consolidation is now complete, which means “all characters on origin servers [have been] automatically moved onto the upgraded high population destination servers.”

What to do if your characters have been moved? How will you know where to find them? According to the official site, “if your characters have been moved, you can find their new location on the server selection screen by clicking on the “Characters” column. Please be aware that no characters have been deleted as part of this process – all of your characters are still available to you and are ready to play!” Your SWTOR credits stash has been left undisturbed, too.

It’s taken heaps of abuse from bemused, mortified, and downright upset gamers. Comments range from those who actually thought it was a trailer for The Secret World to the vocal majority who thought it was just oh so wrong. Judge for yourself:
