The gates to Star Wars: the Old Republic open their widest next week, letting in the most number of beta testers yet.
“We are targeting November 25-28 for our upcoming Beta Testing Weekend,” said senior online community manager Stephen Reid in a forum update.
“Exact timing on when you will be invited will be specified in your invite email.”
This fourth and “biggest” Beta Test will let in thousands of US, EU and international fans to “stress test the servers” as the sci-fi MMO is due to launch in less than a month on December 20.
All previous registrants to Beta Testing Weekends 1 – 3 who failed to randomly draw a code before have been guaranteed a slot on the November 25 preview play.
For those who haven’t gotten an entrance pass, there’s still small time to get a code from one of the many beta testing giveaways happening right now on gaming sites.
Aside from the obvious perks of playing SWTOR for free, there’s also the prestige of being one of the first in the world to see the game’s breathtaking intro cinematics. Gameplay junkies will also be given the whole four days to test drive the Republic and Imperial classes, and accomplish the starting zone missions, earning valuable SWTOR credits in the process.
